I’m Anna Jinja Mather

I am an adoptee passionate about the well-being of adoptees and their loved ones.

Even if you were adopted into a loving family... it's complicated.

As an adoptee, you navigate emotions and experiences that only someone with a similar background can genuinely understand. You may find yourself feeling guilty about your emotions, particularly if your upbringing was positive, or you might face deeper layers of trauma if your childhood presented challenges. My coaching is designed to help you not only release the limiting beliefs and behaviors that confine you but also to connect with your authentic self. Together, we will work towards embracing your journey and becoming the best version of yourself, empowering you to find peace and fulfillment in your unique story.

Meet Anna Jinja Mather

Anna was adopted from Seoul, Korea, and grew up in Iowa. She understands the nuanced complexities of being an adoptee and the emotional landscape that comes with it.

As a transnational adoptee, Anna has deeply examined the pain of rejection in both her personal and professional life., she firmly believes in the potential and capabilities of herself and others. This belief drives her to acquire knowledge and resources that empower individuals, teams, and organizations to become their best selves.

In 2005, Anna participated in the Transformational Leadership Series. Through learning and implementing iiChange skills, she discovered how to let go of limiting beliefs and behaviors that had held her back from utilizing her unique talents and gifts.

As an advocate for underserved populations, she has served as a nonprofit executive and radio host, sharing individual stories to discuss adoption, foster care, and disability issues. Anna integrates the iiChange skills into her work, leading positive change for the greater good. Nearly two decades after her initial encounter with iiChange, she was invited to join their team to facilitate training, workshops, and coaching sessions.
